Reflection of the Day - 10/11/2008

What Do We Do With Judas?

Judas was as common as the rest(of the disciples), without earthly credentials and without any characteristics that made him stand out from the group. He began exactly like the others had begun. Be he never laid hold of the truth by faith, so he was never transformed like the rest.

FURTHER THOUGHTS FOR REFLECTION:
What do you do with Judas?
Judas is spoken of more often and in more detail than
at least 8 out of 11 of the other apostles.
What do we need to learn from the life of Judas?
How has Chris and the Holy Spirit included him in a way that is
for our teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness?

God help us if we could take Judas name out of the Reflection passage for today
and substitute our own. Is Judas problem a major problem
among church people today?
Please tell it is not your problem too!
