Today's Mental Image:
A Heart of Stone
A divinely transformed heart creates a spiritual transformation that makes Christ's life visible in me
God takes the hard chrysalis that my life has become,
the hard outward chrysalis of my visible life,
and inside, where my true self is hidden,
He does a quiet miracle that transforms me -
the worm of humanity when compared to Himself
or even comapred to what He created me to be -
transforms me in secret
into a beautiful, work of art and wonder like a butterfly,
-
till the transformed me
can no longer remain incased in my hard brittleness
but by Divine help breaks out to fly free
as He has created me to be.
