Entrapped in a Prostitute

How Can We Stand!

Hosea 1:2

Then I heard another voice calling from heaven,

“Come away from her, my people.
Do not take part in her sins,
or you will be punished with her.
 

"For her sins are piled as high as heaven,
and God remembers her evil deeds."

 The parallelism between Hosea and the book of Revelation, especially Chapters 17 and 18, affirms that Hosea's message about a prostitute people of God speaks directly to today.

Hosea 1:2
“Go and marry a prostitute, 
so that some of her children will be conceived in prostitution. 
This will illustrate how Israel has acted like a prostitute
 by turning against the Lord and 
worshiping other gods.”

Children Conceived in Prostitution:

This is plainly visible in the American Church today. Some of her children born in her prostitution to the culture and politics gleefully take part in the Prostitute Church's sins. Conceived in sin, living in sin, they will die in their sins unless by the grace of God they become exposed to the true Bride of Christ, leave the prostitute, leave the world - where many of them have fled, and join themselves unto the Living Body of Christ - His Bride.

How Has the American Church Acted Like a Prostitute:

• By her intercourse with power!
• By the wine of her immorality!
• By riding on the back of the powers that blaspheme God!
• By wedding her children to the riches of the world, their priority, and their accumulation as their life goal!
• By the obscenities and impurity institutionalized in her worship!

THE MOTHER OF ALL PROSTITUTES AND OBSCENITIES OF THE WORLD

THE WESTERN CHURCH HAS REACHED THE POINT WHERE

SHE IS NOW DRUNK ON BLOOD OF GOD'S

HOLY PEOPLE WHO ARE WITNESSES

FOR JESUS.

Yes, even the evangelical churches are guilty of these ... and they also drive out their own members who stand for actually living holy ... and they are uncomfortable with those who insist we all should be witnesses of Jesus ... especially those who bring God's true message for today ... and those whose very lives are witnesses of Christ. But remember, she is drunk. She thinks all is well with her soul, her manner of living, her values, and her alliances with the denizens of politics and culture.

 

The Teaching that the Catholic Church is the Prostitute:

The teaching that the Catholic Church is the prostitute falls short. The Protestants and Orthodox have among then the same signs of prostitution. Laying prostitution at the doorstep of Rome just doesn't reflect the reality of today - as much as we may like that teaching so that we do not have to examine ourselves.

Isn't Islam the Great Prostitute?

Like the Western Church, the parallel marks of the prostitute can be found in Islam, but she is not the Church and rejects the title of the Church and the Groom of the Church - Jesus Christ our Savior. An attempt to lay the title of the Great Prostitute on Islam is, like with the Catholic Church, a diversion from our own culpability before God. It could be more easily argued that Islam is the power that God is using to call his western and Christian children to accountability - His instrument of naming our sins.
 

Prostitute Here Could Also Be Translated "A Promiscuous Woman":
