America, On Your Day of Judgment You Will Become A Heap of Rubble!

America,
On Your Day of Judgment
You Will Become A Heap of Rubble!

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever!

If, as the New Testament says, the writings of the Old Testament reveal God's dealing with Judah and Israel  as a warning and an example to us on whom the promise of the ages has come, and, if God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, then the manner in which God executes judgment upon the nation of Israel and the preemptive warnings he issues to Judah reveal how he deals with his own people today and the countries of the world in which they live.

America, On Your Day Of Judgment You Will Become A Heap Of Rubble!

We as God's children hold responsibility for what happens to the countries in which we have been the majority population. When a majority of the people with a Christian heritage prostitute their lives to other than God's will, we place that nation in jeopardy. When our leaders displace or reject God's role in the lives of the nation, the of warnings final judgment become imminent.

Now in God's timing "imminent" may be a matter of a few years, or it maybe another handful of decades, or it may even be one or two hundred years. The longer the time frame the greater the work of grace and mercy being extended to allow repentance of the people and the return to godliness among the leaders.

But when the end comes, one thing repeats itself in nation after nation, they become a heap of rubble.

America, on your day of judgment you will become a heap of rubble!

Your are not exempt from God's repetitious ways. You stand in greater danger because of your Christian heritage and the percentage of your population who live disconnected from the Living God.

You prostitute Christians your rubble will burn.

As Paul says in 1 Corinthians 3:10-15, you will escape as though through a refiners fire, but you will enter into heaven with no gifts for the King and no rewards laid up there. And do not neglect to see the connection between yourselves in America, and the fall of the Great Prostitute in Revelation 17 and 18.

A Call and A Warning.

There is in this passage a call to Benjamin of Judah and a warning to Israel - the Northern Kingdom.  These represent, today, the faithful Christians in America and the prostitute nation of America.

The Call:

God chooses Benjamin in the passage as a representative for the nation of Judah. Judah has not yet been judged to be a prostitute though she is in danger of following Israel in that sin.

The three cities of Benjamin cited point to the past wickedness of Benjamin for which the tribe suffered near extinction. It is like saying, "Listen my faithful ones! Do not forget your past punishments and the grace and mercy of the Lord. Look at what is going on around you. See the impending destruction of your brothers and sisters in the prostitute Israel. Sound the trumpet of warning. Raise the battle cry in Judah. Lead on into battle you warriors of Benjamin that the faithful of God may not fall in this time of danger. Fight for the holiness that Judah needs to preserve. Take a stand against the enemies of faith that are destroying Israel and the foes of God who are being sent to make of her a heap of rubble."

The hymn Sound the Battle Cry by William F. Sherman, though composed in 1869 speaks the application of Benjamin's call to the faithful in America today.

  1. Sound the battle cry! See, the foe is nigh;
    Raise the standard high for the Lord;
    Gird your armor on, stand firm every one;
    Rest your cause upon His holy Word.
  2. Strong to meet the foe, marching on we go,
    While our cause we know, must prevail;
    Shield and banner bright, gleaming in the light,
    Battling for the right we ne’er can fail.
  3. O Thou God of all, hear us when we call,
    Help us one and all by Thy grace;
    When the battle’s done, and the vict’ry’s won,
    May we wear the crown before Thy face.
Refrain:
Rouse, then, soldiers, rally round the banner,
Ready, steady, pass the word along;
Onward, forward, shout aloud, “Hosanna!”
Christ is Captain of the mighty throng.

Remember Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. Be the Benjamites of today!

A Warning:

The warning here addressed to Israel resounds unchanged through the ages. On thing is certain.

"O Prostitute,
on your day of punishment
you will become a heap
of rubble."
