Compassion Knows No Politics...

Compassion knows no politics though

some people's politics know no compassion.

God models compassion. Compassion is the mark of a god fearing heart. Our compassion reveals the heart of God to the world - especially aliens  (immigrants/refugees/travelers) and strangers.  Compassion is an ingrained condition of true believers not a choice or an option.  Its absence reveals an absence of the Holy Spirit/Christ in the pseudo-believer's heart.

Exodus 22:26-27 [New International Version]:
If you take your neighbor’s cloak as a pledge, return it by sunset, because that cloak is the only covering your neighbor has. What else can they sleep in? When they cry out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.

2 Chronicles 36:15 [New King James Version]:

And the LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.

Psalm 78:38 [New King James Version]:

But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity; And did not destroy them. Yes, many a time He turned His anger away, And did not stir up all His wrath.

Lamentations 3:22 [New International Version]:

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.

Compassion knows no politics though

some people's politics despite their supposed belief in God 

know no compassion.

May God turn them from this evil and rescue them

from their captivity to the Evil One.
