HOW THE BIG PICTURE AFFECTS THE SMALL
MOVING PAST THE BEGINNING

To make life work and to help others grow toward a life that works, we must remember two things:

• There are foundational principles without which nothing else works.  If we do not live accourding to the foundations of the faith, we will have nothing secure to build upon.

• The foundational things are not all there is to growth.  There is a process that takes us from the "foundation" to "maturity," or completeness.  We must learn more than the elementary principles of the faith.

How People Grow will show both God's foundation and how to use it and also "go on to maturity" by looking at the rest of the story beyond the foundations.
