TEARS

You keep track of all my sorrows.

You have collected all my tears in your bottle.

You have recorded each one in your book.

FURTHER THOUGHTS FOR MEDITATION:

-

Repentance comes when we stop weeping for what has happened to us,

but start weeping for what our sin has done

to God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

-

When we at last weep for

what has been ravaged in our relationship to them, 

for the dishonor our sin has shown toward God,

and for the shame that our sin has brought

in our world upon the name of Jesus,

we at last can move from mere 

sorrow to repentance.
