How Do People Know What Your Spiritual Gifts Are?

YOU CAN NEVER RECEIVE RECOGNITION IF YOU DON'T PRESENT WHAT YOU HAVE TO BE SEEN
Part 2:

Last week we looked at receiving recognition you are a Christian. Being visible. You have to put it out there.

"Let your light so shine before men
that they may see your good works and glorify
your Father who is in heaven."

The same is true of your spiritual gifts and abilities.

No one knows your spiritual gifts and abilities until you present them in a knowable fashion. No "name it and claim it" can reveal them. Their existence is useless, hidden in rebellion against God unless you present them to be seen. Don't worry, if you don't have the gift that will be revealed too. But at least there will be something to discern or fruits that provide a divine witness.

If  these gift are to be visible, if they are to be useful in the Body of Christ, quit hiding behind "they ought to know."

Gifts and abilities must be clearly known. How?

Jesus didn't say by some rational, clear argument or teaching. He said people will know your gifts and abilities by the visible fruit of your work. Work implies doing something. Work puts something out there. Gifted work demonstrates its divine source. You will know it is doing so because people will lift up God's name. People, especially believers, will see the witness of the Holy Spirit in operation because it will show through physically present work.
Satan, over the last few decades, convinced us that the problem of others not recognizing the spiritual gifts, the gifts has given us - or the gifts people claim -  lies in the "others." No so. The trouble is us failing to put the gifts to work where the Holy Spirit can verify them. If it is a gift of the Holy Spirit, it is the Holy Spirit working through you. You working is required for him to work through you. If you do nothing, he can not work the gift.

I remember one transition in my life where God planned to put my spiritual gifts to work. When I talked about the "position" with others, even non-believers and rebellious Christians, the witness of God's will was clear to them. All of them literally said so. How much more then is it true that when we put our gifts to work the witness that they are special gifts from God will show through.

You Can Never Receive Recognition Of Your Gifts If You Don't Get Out There And Present Your Gifts To Be Seen.
YOU CAN NEVER RECEIVE RECOGNITION
IF YOU DON'T PRESENT WHAT YOU HAVE TO BE SEEN.
