The Minor Prophets Speak To Today
THIS MAY SEEM IMPOSSIBLE TO YOU
Is It Impossible For God? Really!
Zechariah 8:1-6 NLT

“This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: All this may seem impossible to you now... But is it impossible for me? says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies."

Imagine a Jerusalem Where:
There is no violence, no fear, no hatred.
The old men and women safely walk the streets with their canes and sit together in delightful city squares.
The streets are filled with boys and girls at play.
Young boys and young men celebrate life together despite their ethnic or religious background.
God has returned to Mount Zion and lives in the city.
Being called Holy actual is true in every facet of its meaning.
The city is called "the Faithful City"
Because the Jews have stopped rejecting their Messiah
And the Gentiles who live there all love the Lord together.
Is This Really Possible?
Is It Impossible For God?
Really!
When Christ returns you say.
Well, maybe in the Millenium though what happens at the end of the Millenium seems to contradict the "Faithful City" part.
Then, maybe in the final New Jerusalem when the Kingdom of Heaven comes in its fullness.
Old men with canes and children playing indicate an event before Christ's return. Not the New Jerusalem of eternity. Unless I misunderstand scripture, there will be no need for canes in the New Jerusalem and no children born as there will be no marriages.
Likewise, when Jesus lived on earth, he did not live in Jerusalem. He, nor the writers of Scripture, never calls it his home.
Nor is there any record of God dwelling in Jerusalem after this prophecy was given.
So, Did This Turn Out To Be Impossible For God?
